ALiTE Fellows Programme

for In-service Teachers and Principals


The ALiTE Fellows Programme is a new opportunity for outstanding teachers/educators to be on the cutting edge of contemporary educational practice.  The Programme is designed for in-service teachers and principals who plan to take a sabbatical leave, furthering the development of their knowledge and skills as practitioner-scholars (educators, researchers and community leaders). 

The ALiTE Fellows will spend one to three months (anytime between 1 October 2021 and 31 December 2021; or 1 March 2022 and 31 May 2022) of his/her Sabbatical Leave to attach to the Faculty.   Current full-time in-service teachers or principals who are eligible for applying for the Sabbatical Leave Scheme for Professional Development of Teachers and Principals offered by the Education Bureau may apply for the ALiTE Fellows Programme.

Teachers and principals interested in applying for the Programme are required to email his/her updated Curriculum Vitae and the completed Application Form to by 1 May 2021 (deadline extended).
